An introduction Carrie and I have started this blog as a sort of diary so our friends, family, and any who is interested can follow our progress as we move from the UK, our country of citizenship, to New York, where we'll be working for the next couple of years. We hope you enjoy the posts along the way and we'll try and put as many pictures on here so you can all see how we're getting along.
We've both just finished our PhDs and are moving to the US to work as research scholars in two different scientific institutions on Manhattan. At the moment we're still in the UK; we should be leaving at the beginning of September. Before then however theres plenty to organise!
Apart from our work we both really enjoy scuba diving. We've been diving around the coast of the UK for many years, and are looking forward to seeing what New York and the surrounding areas has underwater too! We both love travelling and hope to use the next few years to see as much of the US as our jobs will allow! Watch this space.......  ¶ 10:27 AM
