Brooklyn spamhead
Last Saturday we decided we should go to Brooklyn as everyone keeps telling us we should.
So we did, armed with the Lonely Planet Walking tour of the area as usual!
We walked across the Bridge to start off, which has some great views of both sides of the East river.

We had a really nice day out. We only had legs to walk around a small area, mostly Brookly Heights - which was nice and leafy quiet (where the pictures we taken below)- whilst others were very trendy with lots shops and bars etc. Carrie bought a T-shirt (been there, got the T-shirt), I bought some records, we mooched around some furniture shops, we went for a Peruvian meal (hmmm) and spent the evening in a bar with karaoke. Plus its cheaper than Manhattan, so we'll definitely be spending more weekends there!
